Why ECC?
The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Career Resource Center and Career Services in the Office of Student Development and Counseling strives to prepare its students for rewarding lifelong careers. Through our programming, career exploration and experiential learning opportunities, students are able to successfully navigate their career preparation journey. The Career Resource Center facilitates monthly workshops and events such as resume building, cover letter writing, job search techniques, career exploration, professionalism and etiquette, communication skills, and on-campus employer recruitment to support Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ students.
Career Services provided by the Office of Student Development and Counseling Career Resource Center (CRC) include:
The Career Resource Center has computers that Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ students and alumni can use to work on their resumes and cover letters, create their Career Coach Profile, and search for employment and internship opportunities using such tools as Career Coach and Handshake.
The Career Resource Center’s career services are available to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ alumni at no cost. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ alumni can reach out to the Career Resource Center staff for support with career services at [email protected] or they can visit the office during office hours.
The Career Resource Center staff looks forward to collaborating with Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Faculty and Staff to provide career-related workshops to students virtually or in the classroom.
Faculty and Staff members can reach out to the Career Resource Center at [email protected] if they would like one of the CRC staff members to tailor a workshop for their students.
The Career Resource Center looks forward to collaborating with external employers to support Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ students who are looking for paid internships and employment opportunities. Employers can use the link below to create their employer profiles through our Career Coach platform. Upon approval, employers will be able to post jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ students. There is no fee to post internships and jobs or to participate in our employer recruitment events and job fairs. Employers may also request to come on campus to recruit students for employment opportunities.
